Established CANON

He graduates an elite academy, obtains a prestigious command, rises through the Devastation War, and disappears during Devastation Day. He later appears only ambiguously in official memorial records.

The texture of his rise and departure, and how much Greg witnesses versus learns later. His ambiguous later association with the White Ship is PROVISIONAL and must never resolve into 'he is the ship.'
